Slit lamp microscope is a kind of precision instrument. Generally, the instrument should be placed in a room with good ventilation, dry environment and relative difficulty less than 50%, otherwise it will have adverse effects on the coating of metal parts and the surface of optical parts.
The optical lens of the slit lamp display mirror is the key to ensure the normal use of the instrument, and it must be kept clean frequently. When the lens is contaminated with dust, the dust can be gently brushed off by the brush in the spare parts; If there is oil stain on the lens, it can be sprayed with 60% degreasing cotton Wipe the mixture of ether gently to remove the oil.
Optical lens surface should avoid contact with hands and other parts of the human body, because sweat and grease on the human body will directly affect the surface quality of optical parts; If the lens is not touched due to operation, wipe it clean in time to ensure long-term use of the lens.
The lens of the instrument is easy to accumulate dust, so the lamp cover and lamp holder can be removed. Brush the dust away gently with a duster pen to ensure the light source quality of the instrument in normal operation.
The outer part of the axis base on the moving base of the instrument should be wiped clean and evenly coated with a thin layer of lubricating oil to keep it smooth; Otherwise, it is easy to rust or stain, which directly affects the flexible operation of the instrument.
When the instrument is twisting, the fastening bolts on the moving base, slit lamp bamboo and emblem display mirror should be tightened to prevent the instrument from going out of the guide rail or losing its center of gravity and damaging the instrument. The three bolts should be loosened when the instrument is in normal use.
After the instrument is used, the dust-proof outer leather of the instrument should be covered in time to prevent the instrument from being contaminated with dust and dirt.
The instrument and spare optical parts (or accessories) should be stored in the dry operating room with desiccant.

2. Disinfection. Immerse in 2% glutaraldehyde solution for about 10-20 min, 1:10 sodium citrate solution for about 10 min, or 1:6000 l mercury solution, then rinse with cold water, dry and store in the mirror box. It is placed in a special container specially designed to keep the contact lens in contact with the disinfectant solution. Ethylene oxide gas sterilization. Never use high pressure disinfection and boiling disinfection. Acetone, alcohol or nitrogen peroxide solution will damage the contact lens.
