ssl-images-amazon.By the time I finished trying, the return window passed. This digital microscope is a 99 out of a hundred, and is my third digital this year.I would never recommend this to ANYONE.Very impressed cheers 420<video id="review-video-id-R2CGLFWS1J5DE6" controls class="cr-video-desktop" preload="none" poster="https://images-na.All my other magnifiers could not put enough light into the port.I run Windows 10 64bit on the 1809 release. Then tried connecting to Win10 Laptop and installed all the drivers/apps.Quickly I realized that was woefully inadequate and began searching for something better.Trying at the same distance from the object multiple times, sometimes I could get it to focus and others I couldn’t.This microscope is one of the best things I’ve ever bought., on your mouse pad.Her birthday was at the begining of the month so I caved.Works perfectly for my Galaxy S9.I bought this as a curiosity and to assist me at reading dates on coins. No software came with this product and it would not download from the pc.However, this company took care of the issue and was very nice and honest to deal with.I bought it to look at pests on plants and to ID them, so it works good for what I need it todo.

It does not connect to my Motorola X.Easy to use the controls, you have to manually focus you image and either use the stand or have a very steady hand. For children this is awsome, I mean young childern…For ages 10+ this is Not ideal, it is difficult to get a clear picture without moving the entire device.I reached out and received no response. This thing just does not work most of the time.Detects the camera but doesn’t show anything.Customer support was outstanding – within an hour or two of emailing them, they answered with a weblink and directions. You are able to adjust the light and the zoom, but in order to focus you need to physically move the microscope up and down, which can prove challenging. It is incredibly difficult to focus properly given the stand it comes standard with, although the company does offer a nicer stand that will help a lot with these issues. It’s somewhat difficult to focus, hold the scope, and with your other hand, hold your phone or tablet.I’m not the most tech savvy guy.It works fine except the SNAP button and the ZOOM button doesn’t do anything. This camera is a low resolution color camera, with a simple magnifying lens and a variable Led illumination built in.I then bought two more.It came in the carrying case with no outside packaging and just a sticker on it.I am stuck with it.And for the price the quality was decent.Even with the Amcap software I have yet to get the zoom and snap functions to work, but the device is $22 and works well enough with Windows built in Camera app.It comes with the software you need on a mini disc, and that software is actually better than what the directions tell you to download. It has been fun just looking at different things.

And yes, only one worked on my phone, but it works well! You can take videos or pics while you’re using it, and it shows up on your phone screen.Overall: If you want a good digital microscope without spending a lot of money I do recommend this one however I strongly encourage getting the improved stand this company sells.Tired of doing that.I used some canned air to blow it out and it worked.I wasn’t expecting much from it but I was defiantly surprised @ how well it performed. For the price, it is okay, but don’t expect to look at anything at 400x! When I downloaded the android app from the website, I had no picture.I wasn’t expecting much for the price. The stand design is very poor.I did a fair amount of research on quite a few of them and settled on this one.Followed all instructions but no picture on computer.First I too saw the white phone in the pics and thought, iPhone! The included software was crap for me.Optical performance is stunning for the low price and simplicity of use is excellent.Handy and convenient to take with us on our river explorations, the picture quality is great, and easy enough for my kids to use. What I loved is the detail of the image.I had to install 3 programs and they still didn’t work! After reading reviews and watching videos of this little gem, I ordered.I considered a lot of Microscopes, but all seem that they would get in the way of the tools.I needed to have a way to show microscope sections of tissues to kids at a science festival, and this digital microscope was perfect! I use Macs, so it was quite easy to hook up to my computer and use Photobooth to see the images quite clearly. The company worked with me, sending the original microscope then two others, trying to find one that worked.
